You'll receive email confirmations at key stages. If you haven't heard anything after 6 weeks, feel free to email grants@caption.com.ai for a status update.
What happens if I'm approved?
You'll be contacted by our team to arrange delivery and setup. We'll also provide training resources and ongoing support to help you get the most out of your Caption Glass.
Cost & What's Included
Is this really completely free?
Yes, Caption Glass and the monthly subscription are completely free for qualified recipients. This includes device maintenance and technical support.
What exactly do I receive if approved?
You receive a complete Caption Glass system including the glasses, charging case, setup assistance, training materials, and unlimited technical support.
Are there any ongoing costs or subscriptions?
No, there are no ongoing costs. The monthly subscription, device maintenance, and technical support are all included in the grant.
What if my Caption Glass™ breaks or needs repair?
We provide comprehensive warranty coverage and repair services at no cost. If repair isn't possible, we'll replace your device promptly.
Application Details
How much information do I need to share in my application?
We ask for basic contact information, a brief description of how Caption Glass™ would help you, and optional income information. You only need to share what you're comfortable sharing.
What should I write in the "tell us your story" section?
Be genuine and specific. Help us understand your current communication challenges and how Caption Glass™ would improve your daily life. There's no need for perfect writing - authenticity matters more.
Do I need to provide documentation or proof of anything?
No documentation is required. While you can mention if you have relevant documentation, it's completely optional and not necessary for consideration.

Due to limited funding, we can't help everyone who applies. Decisions are based on multiple factors including financial need, potential impact, and current circumstances. Not being selected doesn't reflect on your worthiness - it simply means we had to make difficult choices.
